It is a known fact that Salman Khan and John Abraham do not get along. But it is surprising to see that things are not so rosy between their lady-loves either. It is believed that Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu who will be seen in Abbas Mastan’s forthcoming film Race didn’t even acknowledge each other on the sets of Race.

As Race is a highly stylized film, it is believed that to avoid problems on the sets, director Abbas Mastan made it clear to the actors that their look and costumes will be designed according to their scenes. This nipped any tiffs in the bud. While Sameera Reddy used to get along with everyone, Bipasha and Katrina were never seen talking to each other on the sets. Knowing the rivalry between Bipasha and Katrina, directors Abbas Mustan would shoot their scenes separately. And thankfully the two had minimal scenes together.

But just when the directors were heaving a sigh of relief with the film being complete and all set to release, there seems to be a new problem. Bipasha and Katrina have refused to promote the film together. Come to think of it, Bipasha avoided being on the sets of Chotey Ustad and a music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee when Katrina was present with the other stars of the film. Bipasha teamed up for a solo couple entry with her co-star Saif for the MTV Hero Honda Roadies promotional event of Race .

Knowing this fact and the cold war between the two actresses, the producers and directors have intentionally planned separate promotional dates for Bipasha and Katrina.

What needs to be seen is that will Yash Raj Films have to adhere to such practices as well, considering the two ladies will be working together in their next project opposite Ranbir Kapoor to be directed by Siddharth Anand.

Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is said to be entering Kollywood through the movie that features Ajith. Director Raju Sundaram is believed to have succeeded in roping in the girl.

Earlier it was said that the latest sensation of Kollywood Shriya would be Ajith’s pair in the movie that is produced by Ayngaran International.

According to a grapevine, Ajith was not interested in casting her after the girl chose to appear in a dance number with Vadivelu in Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan. Her reported attempts to convince Ajith seem to have failed.

The latest buzz regarding the film is that Raju Sundaram and Ajith were able to convince Katrina, who came to Chennai recently. It is also rumoured that the dazzling beauty has been offered a whooping amount of Rs. one crore.

While yesterday (October 16) was woefully short of star power at the Lakme Fashion Week, Day five saw both Katrina and Celina Jaitley taking to the ramp and the Bollywood blitzkreig is expected to be out in full force for Manish Malhotra’s show, which will be the finale to the fashion week.

Some designers steal the show with astounding collections while  some steal it with great concepts but then there are some who steal the show with sheer star power as the  curtains come down on one of the biggest event in Mumbai’s fashion calender. It  was Bollywood which ruled the runway.

Fashion frenzy reached fever pitch when Katrina Kaif took to the runway for Rocky S in the first show  itself. Incidently Kaif was the show stopper for a collection designed for children.

Katrina Kaif walked the ramp with kids showcasing the collection for kids. She was impressed with the fact that the children did not have a flicker of nervousness in their eyes.

Soon after it was Celina Jaitley’s moment under the fashion spotlight.

The  media blitzkrieg went into overdrive when  for the second time running. Bipasha  Basu and John Abraham made an appearance but this time they decided to swap places. While Bipasha watched from the sidelines it was John, who strutted thrice over.

The grande  finale of the  evening by Manish Malhotra is the show touted to get the most flashbulbs going. Rumour has it that atleast 10 Bollywood biggies will warm the front  row - a  perfect way to deflect attention form a not  so  hot collection ?

Ghai launched his mega directorial venture starring Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif and Boman Irani on Spetember 12 in Khandala. A song choreographed by Shiamak Davar was picturised on Salman and Katrina and was the first take of the film.

While AR Rahaman has composed the music of Yuvraaj , Gulzar has penned the lyrics. “A marathon 21 day schedule is going to take place in Western Europe,”

Yuvraaj , we hear, is a fifty crore musical extravaganza. Let’s hope it creates music and more at the box office, too.

Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif are co-stars in a yet-to-be-titled Yashraf film. What is the big deal, you say? Well, their boyfriends are in their own version of a cold war, against each other.

Bipasha and Katrina were co-stars in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, but things had not soured between John and Sallu bhai then. Now the two grown-up boys do not even acknowledge each other in public.

Wonder what Sallu has to say to Kat about this.

The story so far – Salman, John and Bipasha were a part of an entourage performing at a concert abroad. Since the organizer was Salman’s friend, the latter asked John and Bipasha to lower their rates.

Both refused, and this irked Salman, otherwise known for his heart of gold. Since then, all has not been well between them.

So what did Salman do after he came out of Jodhpur prison cell?

The Bollywood superstar was immediately whisked away by his entourage to his hotel where he was united with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif and family.

Katrina was waiting for Salman in the hotel premises and at his first sight; she greeted him with a tight bear hug and followed it up with a kiss. Soon after, Salman boarded a chartered flight to Mumbai, along with Katrina, Sohail and his sister Alvira.

Salman Khan, prisoner no 343 in the Central Jail Jodhpur, got some very special guests including his girlfriend Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. Katrina was here from Mumbai in the afternoon with Salman’s brother Arbaaz and sisters Alvira and Arpita to see her boyfriend, who was arrested yesterday, as local court had rejecting his appeal against a five-year jail term in a poaching case.The 41 years old Bollywood star was arrested and sent to jail shortly after he arrived here yesterday to surrender after losing his appeal in the chinkara poaching case.

According to the sources, the jail’s visiting hours for the day had ended, but the superintendent allowed Katrina and the others to meet Salman for about half an hour at around 3 pm; according to rules, relatives can meet prisoners only between 9 am and 11 am on Sundays.

Katrina and Arbaaz avoided talking to reporters and Salman’s fans that followed them right from the airport to their hotel.

Detained in barrack number 1, Salman is reported to have a sleepless night yesterday. He read a novel to kill his time, but avoided to interact with fellow prisoners.

Today, after a breakfast of ‘chana’ and tea, Salman was examined by a team of medical doctors that found him fit.
