Bipasha in Femina’s ‘50 most beautiful women

Bipasha Basu, who has just been signed up by Sir Ben Kingsley to play the role of Mogul Emperor Shah Jahan’s eldest daughter, Jahanara Begum, in his magnum opus on the construction of the Taj Mahal, looked her ravishing best in the capital Friday, 21 September.
Director Karan Johar and debutant actor Deepika Padukone unveiled Femina’s special issue on India’s 50 most beautiful women at Shangri La Hotel in New Delhi.
The issue is available as a set of five with the covers featuring Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra and DeepikaPadukone.
Commenting on the release of the special issue of Femina, Shashikala Venkatraman, COO Worldwide Media, said: “Femina is all about celebrating women and womanhood. Fashion may come and go but women are in style forever. This issue of Femina is to celebrate Indian beauty - as much as we have celebrated inner strength and beauty in the past, this issue is all about purely and unabashedly saluting beauty in its outer manifestation.”
